August 2021 Canada Republic Update

An incomplete list of Canadian sworn allies to the Monarch includes MPS, MLAs, Senators, RCMP, and Supreme Court Judges. Canadians who do not pledge allegiance to the Monarch are not permitted by law to be employed in those professions involving law, politics, and law enforcement. It would be erroneous to think that Canadian law does not discriminate against Canadians who are not sworn allies to the British Monarchy.
